We welcomed the lovely stallion Obelix REN to the ranch in 2025, owned by our client Adrian Ward of JAAW Equine. Obelix is a stunning stallion with a very balanced temperament, a true gentleman both to handle and ride. His bloodlines combine the best of German and Dutch breeding including the breeding legends, De Niro, Krack C, Sandro Hit, and Rubinstein. ​​​Obelix was imported as a 3-year-old and approved AES and has since been lifetime approved with the Danish Warmblood Association.

Obelix has competed in both the FEI 4- and FEI 5-year-old classes with scores as high as 82%. ​ Josh picked up training and competing Obelix REN after his arrival at the ranch. At their first show of the 2025/2026 winter season, they passed the 70% mark at 4th level, their first qualifier for the 6-year-old class.
